I was really torn on what exactly to do here, on one hand using a bunch of others peoples guides is sort of cheesy but on the other side I am really only a top 1% player (have played for 3 years with a 2 year gap and I have a 497 player game win) which sounds good but much better players could easily crush me and secondary being good does not equal being good at teaching the game. As such I decided I would put the best guide(s) I could find which are the guides made from the two biggest active clan(s) OG and TITAN. (Some of the info I have added people have ASKED me to add, others I have taken with credit gaven).

7th Cycle: Infinite expansion at 1st tick with 30%, make sure attacks never ends and that u dont oversend.
For smaller maps:

Top Player showing current EASIEST META spawn techinque for FFA and TEAM games (NOT 1v1 games but still can be used, just isn't as good)So you have just completed your opening and have no more free land to grab, **you have now entered the early game.**
Your early game will look drastically different from game to game and as such you must be prepared to always change the way you play in the early game based on your circumstances. __The tips below are a general outline for what you should try to accomplish in the early game of an approximately 100 player game. (NOTE: 100+ player games auto spawn you in) Spawn only on places where you can expand easily and efficiently. If you realize you are expanding too slowly and the interval between clicks for infinite expansion is too high, you may be choosing a bad spawn. Also do not spawn on islands as it would be difficult to reach other parts of the map and you cannot expand as much as if you spawned on the continent. Top players always have a spawn where they can perform the best. In order to have a favorite spawn, you just need to test out every spawn for Asia, World, and Europe. Eventually you will find one. Having a favorite spawn makes it so that you can memorize all of the dynamics and features about your spawn. For example, if you spawn in northern Canada, you can boat to the Canadian islands and Greenland. Moving can result in not finding a good spawn. After around 5 seconds, all of the good spawns will be taken so if you move you will not be able to find a good spawn. If someone spawns on top of you, they will likely move (game of chicken where you have the advantage if you were first). If they don't then you can try a different spawn.
- **Begin attacking bots as soon as possible.** After your opening you should begin to attack bots with 8-12% power as they fullsend. Attacking at the start or middle of the cycle is better than at the end of the cycle. Try not to exceed **4 bots per cycle** as attacking more than that in a competitive game will most likely lead to your troop number being too low. However It is also very important you **don't attack too slow.** You are doing yourself no favors by being very small with a large amount of troops so you need to walk the line of gaining land and keep your troop count up. *Keep in mind in contests and games with more real players the number of bots you will have to attack will be much lower.*
- **Be wary of your borders.** Be careful and observant of your surrounding in the early game, make sure to look past the bots you are attacking and see who you will border. A general rule of thumb I follow in the early game is to try to keep my troop count around the same or slightly higher than my neighbors. If your neighbors are weak and you can afford to attack bots faster, attack them faster. . Also try to keep your borders clean if possible, try to refrain from attacking bots that will make you "snake" out and border too many people.
- **Slowly decrease the amount of troops you send.** As the early game comes to a close and there are less bots to attack you must begin saving up your troops to have a good mid game. The first step to saving troops is sending less troops at the final few bots. It varies on the situation but usually you want to lower it to about 6-8%
- **Attack your very weak neighbors.** This is the point where a lot of new players mess up. If you attack a player too early (generally before the first minute) or when your troop count is not high enough, your entire game can be ended. My personal suggestion for new players is to not attack a weak player in the early game if you cannot comfortably kill them using 15% or less. If you have larger borders on weak neighbors you can afford to let others attack them first so you lose less troops.
- **Send out early boats.** This is important on particular maps and where you spawn as having access to different land masses will increase your amount of targets in the midgame which you can attack, meaning you will often have weaker targets.
Towards the end of the early game and beginning of the mid game you should begin saving to red interest, only attacking if someone full sends or is actively dying.
