Gameplay by me

The blue in the image above is me, and the red player is a top 50 player in the game (and is also not a real player, its a coded AI, the second best coded AI in the game.

How to play:

Basic recap of the tutorial, you can click on a tile to move the troops on that tile. Thats basically it! You can also set keybinds for 50% split and team pings (2v2 and other "big team" modes)

This will be mainly a 1v1 guide, FFA is much more luck based (and I also am not very good at it (top 100 in 1v1 ATM and am qualified for the S43 tournament finals)

First thing is understanding the mechanics. In the game itself land gives 1 troop every 25 turns (turn 25,50,75,100,(to infinty) and generator/crowns give 1 troop a turn. If a player loses their crown they lose the game. To gain generators (gray buildings) you must pay 40 to 50 troops. Its an investment. However if your opponent can take over this generator and hold it in a 1v1, the game is over for them. Not only did they waste 40+ troops but they also are getting outgenerated now. As you can see in the game above thats what I do. Once that happens your goal should be to win steal or scam them. For example in this game what they could have done is use their 100 troops to attack me and try to find my crown while all my troops are on the generator in his territority. This kind of scam works is very risky and rarely works however. Usually the person with the troops in your land will just counterattack you and kill you before you can find and take their crown away

Spawns: (first 25 turns of the game)

11-6-5

13-7-5-3

The spawn I used in the game above is the 13-7-5-3 spawn. I wait until 13 troops, then move them out, then go over 2 of my tiles are take 7 over, then take 5 in a different direction and finally end with 3 more troops moving out. In an 11-6-5 spawn you start at 11. Then go over three of your own land (6) and then go over 2 of your land (5) before taking a few extra tiles in the last few seconds. Both lines work in many situations but their is ALWAYS a best spawn in a posotion. Below is an example of 11-6-5 spawn (look at blue) except since I had a bad spawn I couldn't go over 2 self land so i went over 1 instead with my 5 troops

Gameplay by me

Now look at red. He is already down 1 troop on turn 25, that one troop lead sounds small but is massive. (In this case he just got an unlucky spawn and he is a very good player (60+ stars)

The best way to get better is to first learn how to move the game itself. Its very simple but its something I can't really teach. Then watch top players play. See why they make a play and see if it ends up bein a good play. The leaderboard tells you a lot, it tells you when someone takes over a generator, when someone is taking land or when someone is moving troops on their land. It tells you the amount of generators (0-inf) + crowns (always 1) they have by the amount of troops they gain a turn [this only shows accurate info if you two aren't taking over each others land at that exact moment]
